My friend got a new car mount for his camera so we fooled around with it over the weekend. This is what he put together. Any feedback is appreciated! (We weren't taking this too seriously, but any ways to improve it when we do spend more time on it would be great.)

Other than the music, this is very good. I would suggest a classical or instrumental piece. Particularly if the exhaust sounds good.

We need a better mic and a windscreen thats why he cut out the sound, and he got his first video taken down due to copyright for the music haha. Thanks though, and do you have any specific tracks in mind for the music?

Not bad, I liked some of the angles. Not a fan of the music. Over powering music is a bit of a cop out on car videos. I'm guessing you probably did it because the audio didn't work out well (like most camera audio on cars doesn't), but in the future I would try to capture a second source of audio. I personally have used my Xoom H1 in the past on my bike to catch audio from under the seat with the Go Pro on the windscreen, then merge them in edit.

We had thought of that too, getting a second mic for better quality, but I think we will try to make some sort of windscreen for what we already have. That would be the cheapest way, and cheap is always better when you are broke haha. Do you have any experience making windscreens, or know of another cheap way for better sound?

Buy some fake fur and make a giant dead cat would be my guess for quick and easy.
